Federal City Iron

was started over 30 years ago by Tom Earing. He worked for many years by himself putting up window bars and security gates that he would manufacture in his backyard in College Park. After a few years he was able to hire on an assistant and take on larger and more intricate work. As time went on, assistants came and went and Marshall May started work as a seasonal worker during college. Bringing new ideas and helpful ways to improve the company, Marshall was able to increase over all efficiency. In 2015, Tom officially retired and Marshall took over the business instituting larger changes in the workings of FCI. We are still growing as a company, and hope to never stop learning new and inventive ways to make better products for our customers.
